# Owner review — before this site is published

This file lists everything that is **not yet confirmed from a public record**, plus
the configuration that must be set before the site goes live. It is the only
document you need to work through.

Items marked **CONFIRM** are already flagged visibly on the page (a gold
`confirm` tag or a `Placeholder` tag), so a visitor can see that they are pending.
Items under "Placeholders that are not flagged" rely on you to replace them.

---

## A. Must do before publishing

| # | Item | Where | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| A1 | **Live domain** | `assets/js/config.js` → `SITE_CONFIG.origin`; `robots.txt`; `sitemap.xml`; `index.html` (canonical + og/twitter tags + JSON-LD) | The site currently uses the reserved placeholder `https://dr-maruthi-prasad.example`, which can never resolve. Set the real origin in `config.js` and the page rewrites the canonical URL, the social images and all JSON-LD URLs at runtime. Also replace the literal placeholder text in `robots.txt` and `sitemap.xml`. |
| A2 | **Contact routing** | `assets/js/config.js` → `SITE_CONFIG.contact` | Set **either** `email` (your confirmed professional address) **or** `formEndpoint` (a form service URL). Until one is set, the contact form validates the visitor's details and then honestly reports that routing is not configured — it never fakes a delivery. |
| A3 | **Portrait** | `assets/img/portrait.svg` | A placeholder graphic. Replace with a real photograph (a 4:5 or 1:1 crop works best), or supply a new file and update the `img` reference in `index.html`. The `Placeholder` tag next to the image is driven by the markup in `index.html`. |
| A4 | **This checklist** | — | Delete or unpublish `OWNER-REVIEW.md` and `README.md` if you would rather they were not public (they are plain files; nothing links to them). |

---

## B. Confirm on the page (already flagged **CONFIRM**)

Each of these renders with a gold `confirm` tag so the site is honest while you check.

| # | Item | Where on the page | Currently states | Basis for the current wording |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| B1 | Apollo start date | Experience timeline, first entry | "December 2021 – present" | Affiliation statement on the 2024 *BioMed* article + an institutional award profile. The exact start month was not stated in a public record. |
| B2 | China Medical University end date | Experience timeline, second entry | "2020 – " (open-ended) | The ORCID employment record gives a start date (March 2020) and no end date. |
| B3 | Global Institute dual job title | Experience timeline, fourth entry | "Research Associate / Assistant Professor" | Reproduced as recorded in ORCID; the actual designation needs confirming. |
| B4 | Department / laboratory name | Footer organisation line | "Department of Clinical Chemistry, Apollo Diagnostics Global Reference Laboratory, Hyderabad, India" | Taken from the 2024 publication's affiliation. Confirm the wording your employer prefers publicly. |

To remove a tag once confirmed, delete the corresponding
`<span class="tag tag--pending">…</span>` element in `index.html`. Grep for
`tag--pending` to find them all (currently four).

## C. Bibliometrics — currently withheld or shown as dated snapshots

The site deliberately **does not display an h-index**, and shows platform figures
only as dated snapshots with a pending marker.

| # | Item | Current treatment | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| C1 | **h-index** | Omitted entirely. The metrics panel explains that it is withheld until the correct researcher profile and its current value are confirmed. | Confirm which profile is yours and the current value, then add it as a metric item in `assets/js/config.js` → `SITE_CONFIG.metrics.items`. |
| C2 | ResearchGate publications (41), citations (665), reads (9,814) | Shown as `pending: true`, labelled "owner-reported snapshot". | Re-check these numbers on your ResearchGate profile and either update the values or remove the items. Change `pending` to `false` once verified. |
| C3 | Google Scholar citations (684) | Shown as `pending: true`. | Re-check on your Scholar profile (`user=uzkLrD0AAAAJ`) and update or remove. |
| C4 | Indexed works (16) | Shown as verified (`pending: false`). | This is the count of the publications listed in `assets/js/data/publications.js`. Keep it in step with that file, or let the site compute it (it already displays "16 of 16 publications" in the library). |

**Warning:** do not copy numbers between platforms. ResearchGate, Google Scholar and
Scopus count different corpora, and a mismatch is easy to spot.

## D. Publication records to check

All 16 listed papers were resolved to a publisher record, a DOI, or a
tagged author profile (ORCID / OpenAlex). Two need your attention:

| # | Item | Status |
| --- | --- | --- |
| D1 | *Drug designing and docking studies of BRCA1 …* (2014, Int. J. Plant, Animal and Environmental Sciences) | No DOI is registered for this article. The card therefore offers a **Google Scholar search** instead of a publisher link. If the journal has a stable article URL, add it as `publisherUrl` in `assets/js/data/publications.js`. |
| D2 | *Molecular Docking Studies of Phytochemicals of Vitex negundo … against Adenosine A1 Receptor* (2015) | The DOI (`10.15436/2381-0793.15.005`) resolves, but the publisher's own page currently returns **404** and its certificate is invalid. The card keeps the DOI as the scholarly identifier, adds a Google Scholar fallback, and carries a visible note. If you have a working copy (PDF or institutional record), send it and the link can be replaced. |
| D3 | Works awaiting an authorship-role check | Under the metrics panel, "Works identified but awaiting an authorship-role check" lists one item: *Interactions Between Diets, Gut Microbiota and Host Metabolism* (Frontiers Research Topic, 2020, DOI 10.3389/978-2-88963-998-4). It appears in your ORCID works but looks like an edited collection rather than a research article. Move it into the main library once the role is confirmed, or remove it. |

### Two editorial notes

- **Microbiology & AMR** is presented as a research *interest* in the research
explorer (domain 08) because no indexed antimicrobial-resistance or MRSA
publication was identified. One paper in the library (pinocembrin / gut
microbiota) carries the Microbiology theme because of its microbiota work — it is
not an AMR paper. If you do have AMR publications that are not indexed publicly,
add them to `publications.js` and update the domain status.
- **Author roles** ("First author" / "Co-author") are inferred from author order in
the publisher record. Please confirm the corresponding-author attributions in
  particular.

## E. Content sections that are deliberately conservative

These are choices, not omissions — change them if you want more.

| Section | Current approach | How to extend |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Research explorer, domain 08 (AMR/MRSA) | Labelled "Research interest — no indexed publications identified". | Add real citations to the domain's `pubs` array and change `status` to `published`. |
| Scientific impact & collaboration | Lists the *kinds* of work you seek. It contains **no** named partners, grants, awards or quantified impact, because none could be verified publicly. | Add them in `index.html` with the primary source, or leave as is. |
| Teaching, reviewing and outreach | Described generally as activities, with no invented institutions or counts. | Add specifics you can evidence. |
| Languages | English, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil — from your own statement. | Edit `SITE_CONFIG.person.languages`. |

## F. Suggested order of work

1. Set the origin (A1) and contact routing (A2).
2. Confirm the four flagged dates and titles (B1–B4) and delete their tags.
3. Replace the portrait (A3).
4. Re-check the bibliometrics (C1–C4).
5. Decide on the three publication items (D1–D3).
6. Re-run the checks in `README.md` §7 if you have changed markup or CSS.
